An actor and writer, Chris' career is a marathon. He just can't stop to rest, or others will rush ahead. But, when we decided to start a family, he knew he'd have to slow down: less auditions, no out-of-town gigs and fewer New York commitments. Then Murphy visited our home and laid out the law this month. The potential work started pouring in; pilot auditions and top-notch regional shows.
Chris passed. He passed on all of it.
I can't speak for my husband, but what I can say is that my other dreams and ambitions pale in comparison to my present. My wonderful, rich, full present. And I suppose that's why Chris didn't hesitate saying, "not now." It just doesn't get any better than this.
